Une bd qui oscille entre chronique de la traite négrière et des conditions de vie d'esclave et aventure mystique, rite initiatique d'une jeune femme. Les dessins sont superbes, ils donnent le ton de la BD en créant une ambiance surréaliste en exagérants certains traits, ils font ressortir le caractère de personnages dans leurs formes. Le scénario est haletant et on ne s'ennuie jamais.
